okay. i haven't blogged in detail about my feelings about idol in a long time, mostly because i haven't been able to watch it. that really breaks my heart, not being able to watch it. anyway, i have managed to watch a few episodes this season, and so far i sorta know who i like and don't like. i like danny. i like matt. i like kris. i like allison (spell?). i like anoop. i don't like lil. i don't like adam.
from the auditions, i remember the people i liked were danny, matt and von smith who was out pretty early. i kind of liked anoop too. i didn't like adam, mainly because it was quite obvious he was going to be the one that all the teenie girls liked and really mainstream. there is no doubt that he is a good performer, but there is something about him that seems rather unnatural and fake. he isn't even that good looking. though he does have a slight resemblance to joe jonas. who is tons better looking. but i'm not saying i like him. adam certainly has a bit of a star-quality about him, but i personally think he's rather like a second-rate david cook. david cook is awesome.
i wish i could watch more!
okay. i shall stop talking about idol now. i actually kind of want to watch seventeen again. it seems like a good movie. but you all know i typically would not watch a movie with zac efron in it. he seems to be the most successful of all the actors in high school musical's main cast. my guess is that it's because he's a good actor compared to the rest of them. and also because he was smart and continued acting instead of taking on a singing career like ashley tisdale or vanessa hudgens. they REALLY shouldn't sing. especially those sleazy songs. how spectacularly horrid.
