now, first of all, i would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their wishes for me to get better soon. i already am getting better. :) your wishes worked.maybe i should ask you guys to wish the next time i really want something. haha.
anyway. the needle is out of me and i have been discharged from the hospital. yesterday, in fact. i had to go back this morning for physiotherapy. basically what is done is that i get on a bed and the therpaist tilts the bed so that my legs are higher than my head. and then she puts some tissues in front of me and then starts whacking me. seriously that's what they do. to whack the phlegm out of me. and by the way, the doctors and nurses and physiotherapists, they avoid calling it phlegm, for some reason. they prefer to call it 'substance' or other weird names that sounds something like 'serum' or 'semen' or something like that.
my dad was telling me last night to keep warm. he said that back like 100 years ago in england when someone gets pneumonia, they're finished. definitely dead. it was like cancer. they had to send them off to a tropical country to avoid the cold. but i don't see the point if they're gonna die anyway. and they called dying by pneumonia drowning. because their lungs fill up with phlegm. it's a very long drowning process i suppose.
and oh yeah. please take care of the environmeny people, really please do. because it seems like nobody actually cares. they say "i love the environment" but they don't do anything to help it. i totally get it if you don't have the resources to do so, just like me, or if you are somehow restricted from caring for it by your parents, but do what you can. because climate change is a reality. it's coming true, in case you haven't noticed. if you haven't, you obviously don't have any windows and haven't been out of the house before.
come on lah. it's not for yourselves. it's for your kids. haven't you heard the phrase
"the children of tomorrow will pay the price for our actions today"?
it's true. our kids and our grandkids will have to suffer the intense heat or intense cold because people of our generation decided to leave computers on 24/7 and because we turned on all the air-cons in the house because we can't take a bit of sweat. or in the cold turn the heater on high and walk around wearing your underwear. and it isn't just hte weather changes that the next generations will experience, it's disease and food shortages. lack of clean water. their lifespans will be shortened. and it isn't their fault. they will die young because of us. don't you get it?!
you know, to be honest. some of you guys are real idiots. i won't say who, but you should know who you are. oh fine i'll drop one name. george w bush. hahaha.
but the US won't have a green president in the near future. al gore should've ran for president!
